Bordeaux invites you to experience the best that the city has to offer - and in luxury style. Stay at a wonderful four star hotel, enjoy private visits, partake in a cooking class with a chef at a beautiful chateau and of course Bordeaux wouldn't be Bordeaux without learning about and tasting the fine wines for which this region is famous. 

During your four night stay, you will have a private wine cellar visit and tasting, a hands-on cooking class with a professional chef, an exciting boat trip, a blending workshop, guided visits of Bordeaux and Saint-Emilion and much more.


You can choose between having a private chauffeur for your entire stay that will provide transfers and transportation or you can choose to hire a car and arrive on your own to the hotel and the various destinations. Please inquire.  





Arrival at Bordeaux airport and make your own way to your four star hotel in the center of Bordeaux. (If you chose the option with private transport, you will bet met by your private driver and be transferred to the hotel, as well as picked up for each excursion as described below. If not, as stated above you may choose to hire a car for your stay).


Private guided visit of Bordeaux (walking tour)


Discovery of the historical center, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site with your private English-speaking guide. Through this visit, you will have the opportunity to discover one of the largest examples of 18th and 19th century architecture and sumptuous stone facades decorated with mascarons and sculpted arches.


Lunch at a panoramic restaurant situated in La Cité du Vin


Located on the 7th floor of La Cité du Vin, the restaurant offers a stunning view of the city and the river. The cuisine is created from fresh local and seasonal products using the flavors of the world, as a journey through the culinary traditions. The restaurant offers not less than 500 wines from 50 countries and a selection of 32 wines by the glass.

Cooking class, followed by a private lunch at a Château, Saint-Estèphe Appellation

Cellar visit and tasting at a Château, Grand Cru Classé, Pauillac Appellation


Enjoy a getaway in the famous Bordeaux vineyards and meet its prestigious appellations of the Medoc!


With these great vines of the nineteenth century, the left bank of the Medoc enjoys an outstanding reputation. The quality of its soils and, by extension, of its wines, the majesty of its properties and its legendary wine route make Médoc an essential.


Dinner in a local Brasserie (within walking distance from your hotel)


This traditional restaurant is located in the heart of the prestigious Golden Triangle district, just a few steps from the Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux.


You will find elegant decor, with wood paneling, Art Nouveau touches and mirrors. The 19th century inspired room will delight your dinner, based on local produce.

Day Three - arcachon bay and local produce


Breakfast at your hotel - Transfer to Arcachon with your private driver. (only if you choose transportation option - see below)


Boat trip on the Arcachon Bay on a traditional Pinasse & stop over to taste oyster (3h)


Enjoy a boat ride on the Bassin d’Arcachon on a Pinasse, traditional local boat. Discover the beautiful « île aux Oiseaux » (birds’ island) between sky and sea, the majestic “cabanes tchanquées”, build on stilts in the middle of the sea, the oyster beds, the Cap-Ferret peninsula and his picturesque fishermen villages, the Pyla Dune, the highest of Europe…


Spending a day in Arcachon, oyster tasting is a must-do! In a small traditional oyster farm, meet producers passionate about their work and taste the oysters freshly outputs of the Arcachon bay. 


6 oysters, bread, butter and a glass of white wine. Shrimps will be offered for people who do not eat oysters.


Lunch on a restaurant with a stunning view over the Sea


Between Dune du Pyla and pine forest, The Coorniche enjoys an exceptional location, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the Bay of Arcachon, with direct access to a beautiful sandy beach.


This panoramic restaurant, designed by Philippe Stark, invites you to enjoy delicious regional dishes, between sky and sea, while admiring the beautiful landscape.


Visit of sturgeon farm and caviar tasting


Discover the history of this sturgeon farm, sturgeon breeding and the secrets of the elaboration of Aquitaine Caviar through a guided visit. 


You will then enjoy a commented tasting of the farm’s natural caviar.

Day Four - great wines of saint-emilion


Breakfast at your hotel - Transfer to Saint-Emilion with your private driver  (only if you choose transportation option - see below)


Blending workshop followed by a lunch in a Château, Grand Cru Classé of St-Emilion


Blending Workshop: You will be welcomed by the sommelier of this Grand Cru Château, who will give you a private tour of the wine making facilities. You will then enjoy a blending workshop directly in the vat room. You will learn all about the differences between the main grape varieties used in Bordeaux wines, realize your own blend and be able to compare the result with the “real” blend along with a selection of charcuteries.


Winemaker Lunch: Tables will be laid in the château’s reception room where you will enjoy some typical Southwest of France produce: A fillet of beef grilled on vine shoots, a selection of local cheeses and a “Gourmet coffee”: a coffee served with different sweet delicacies. The property’s wine will be served with lunch and commented by the sommelier.


Cellar visit and tasting at a Château, Grand Cru Classé, Saint-Emilion Appellation


Discover the long history and taste the wines of one of the most prestigious properties in Saint-Emilion during a private commented visit. Let yourself be led by a knowledgeable professional.


During this vist you will discover the spectacular vats room, the beautiful barrel cellar and the orangery, wher you could taste the property’s wines. This unmissing itinerary will be the occasion to discover Château Soutard modern facilities, from the vines to the cellar, as well as understand the wine making process.


Guided visit of Saint-Emilion and its underground monuments


Your guide will take you through the medieval cobblestone’s streets, from the city’s ramparts to the heart of the ancient monasteries. 


He will explain the background of Saint-Emilion’s unique underground monuments. The tour covers several centuries of history and legend from the time of the monk Emilion to the carving out of the amazing monolithic church. You will be able to see paintings in the Chapelle de la Trinité and learn the secrets of the catacombs. This visit to four major monuments amounts to a condensed history of Saint Emilion!


Dinner at Le Chapon Fin, gastronomic restaurant (within walking distance from your hotel)


Set up in 1825 in the golden triangle of Bordeaux, le Chapon Fin was one of the first restaurants to receive a Michelin award in 1933. At the beginning of the 20th century, Bordeaux merchants or wealthy transatlantic travellers, en route to their holiday resorts on the Basque coast – all those from the high society - stopped off in Bordeaux at the Chapon Fin. 


Today, the Chapon Fin is still up to its reputation. Young Chef Nicolas Nguyen Van Hai shows his creativity and modernity through the best local produce. The restaurant’s amazing rockery decor is shown off to its best by the use of modern tones and contemporary furniture.
