This three night tour provides a cooking class, a "foodie" walking tour and beautiful accommodations in a three star hotel in the center of the city. Athens is the historical capital of Europe, with a long and impressive history, dating from the first settlement in the Neolithic age. Get a taste of this incredible place!

We invite you for a journey back in time in the oldest city in the world. If you are a connoisseur of all good things in life, you will find it on this full immersion four day program. You will gain a valuable understanding of Greek cuisine through hands-on cooking and a food and walking tour.

DAY ONE

 ARRIVAL DAY

Welcome to Greece!

Arrival to Athens. Transfer to your three star hotel located in the heart of the city. 

Dinner on your own. Overnight in your accommodation.

 

DAY TWO

WALKING FOOD TOUR


Our guide is passionate about food and with his help you will be able to see culinary Athens at its best! The program includes a legendary tour to remember for the rest of your life. You will visit specialty food shops, lively and attractive delicatessens, mythical bakeries and sweet shops, restaurants, dairies, spice, grocery and pie shops where you will sample and taste the most traditional/ gourmet Greek food. The Athenian food tour wouldn't be complete wtihout visiting to the vibrant central food market.

Our guide will competently lead you through a food stroll and introduce you to the hidden gastronomic geography of the city. A day not to forget your camera! 

The rest of the afternoon will be free.

Overnight in your accommodation.

 

DAY THREE

COOKERY CLASS & WINE TASTING


In the late morning, our professional chef will teach you how to prepare some starters and a main course in a nice location of Athens. The lesson will take place at a wonderful tavern in the heart of the city.

  

Get to know the wonderful world of Greek cuisine; the herbs, the fresh vegetables, the choice meats that we always use and learn the basics on how to prepare a full Greek lunch which you will enjoy after the class.



The afternoon is free for your own activities. You can visit the Parthenon, or the Acropolis museum, or the archaeological museum of Athens. Shopping is also a possibility! We can provide a guided Acropolis visit at an extra cost.


Dinner on your own.

A reservation at a quality recommended restaurant can be also made.

DAY FOUR

Breakfast and departure.

A transfer to the airport can be arranged for an additional charge.

The metro and the bus to the airport are very near your hotel. Taxis are also available.
