Visit the beautiful Amalfi Coast and learn the delicious cuisine of this area by taking a hands on cooking class with a Master Chef. You will collect the ingredients you will use for the course with your chef from an organic garden. The meal will then be enjoyed during the preparation of the menu. What better way is there to experience all that this area has to offer? If you'd like, we can also arrange a residential course where you can stay at this beautiful four star property, take cooking classes, go on a tour to Capri or Amalfi, and get your exercise in by taking a walking excursion. And we are not done yet .... how about a pizza course to learn about the famous Neapolitan pizza?


The Amalfi Coast is certainly one of the most beautiful places in the world. Gorgeous coastline with prisitne waters are only two of the reasons to visit this area. In addition, you will enjoy total tranquility at the hotel where your cooking lessons are taught.


Your instructors for the class are the chef and a famous historical author of many books on Mediterranean Cuisine. 



The lessons start with a brief introduction on the basic techniques and on the history of the products used in the recipes. Most of the products utilized are harvested directly by the students from the on site garden. Classes are available for individuals or groups and for all skill levels so no worries if you are a beginner! Have some fun, learn how to prepare delicious food, and go home with new knowledge and some skills to cook your friends and family an authentic Italian meal!

Take part in a wonderful cooking class in Ravello. This class is perfect for those who would like to go home and create a traditional cuisine of this area to impress family and friends.


The lesson begins with the unique experience of harvesting the vegetables from the organic garden to be used in the dishes prepared in the cooking class. At the same time the chef will provide interesting information about the history and nutrition of the ingredients. There will also be the opportunity to learn from a dairyman who will teach you how to make mozzarella cheese and other dairy products such as braids, knots and cherries.


Each participant will be able to enjoy the meal after completion. The experience lasts about 3 hours, beginning at 11:00AM or at 3:00PM and it is held in a typical rustic kitchen. 


At the end of the garden there is an ancient  grotto that you will also be able to visit, with a medieval chapel dedicated to the Archangel Michael. The cave was, at one time, the place for prayers for the farmers who went there during breaks from work. 







Learn the secrets of creating the famous "Neapolitan Pizza". You will use simple and delicious ingredients to create these masterpieces and will learn the techniques required to make the perfect pizza. Delicioso!
During the course, you will learn about the history of this pizza and its required ingredients, what the best equipment is to be used and how to handle dough and shape the pizza. You will go through all of the stages from beginning to end including what toppings to use, how the oven has influence on how the pizza comes out and how long to properly cook the pizza. After the course you will become an expert! 





A minimum of 2 participants is required to run the regular cooking class and 4 participants for the pizza class and the class is limited to a maximum of 10-12 participants for the cooking class and 15 participants for the pizza class. Please inquire about larger groups.

(For those who are lactose intolerant or wish not to participate in the Dairyman experience, we will be provide an alternative appetizer. However, you will still be able to observe the Dairyman’s work).
