Take cooking classes at a cooking school located within a four star holiday complex, in a residential area of Sorrento close to the sea and the city center. The cooking school offers a unique way to experience Sorrento and its famous surroundings through personal interaction with local food and wines. This is a wonderful way to learn about the foods of the area, meet new friends, and enjoy delicious cuisine in a beautiful atmosphere with your friendly hosts. It is a day you will treasure and reflect upon in years to come.

 


Guests can participate in a half-day hands-on cooking class giving you the opportunity to learn a complete seasonal menu with particular focus on local specialties, from appetizers to desserts.

Join us for Italian hands-on cooking classes in Sorrento which are offered daily and are taught in English by a talented chef who is accompanied by an assistance who translates the lesson simultaneously. You will learn how to prepare a basic 4 course menu including appetizer, home made pasta, local fish, typical desserts and have the pleasure of eating what you have prepared during the meal.

  


Most of the dishes chosen can be easily made at home and the ingredients can generally be found in your country of origin. They are surprisingly simple to prepare yet are unforgettably flavorful and will surely impress your family and friends. 

 

The class will give a balanced knowledge to acquire the principal techniques for dressing the plates, making the fresh dough for pasta, pizza and bread, learn about fish, vegetables meat and legumes, ending by creating fresh and delicate pastry.

 

 

 

 

Sample NON RESIDENTIAL DAY Cooking Class Itinerary

 

 

10:00AM:  The interpreter will provide a brief overview of the lesson explaining the menu of the day and giving each participant a book of recipes, an apron and a shopping bag

 

 

11:00AM:  First tasting of the appetizer prepared with a flute of prosecco wine

 

1:30PM:  The lesson comes to an end and finally everyone can sit at the big dining room table to eat what has been prepared and enjoy the local wine and limoncello

  

 

 

GROUP SIZE

 

A minimum of 2 participants is required to run this tour and the tour is limited to a maximum of 13 participants.

 

(The number of participants refers to how many persons are required to run the tour, not to how many persons you must have in your party. Please inquire.)

 

 

 

HOW TO ARRIVE

 

By taxi or if not using a private transfer, please use : line bus C from Sorrento Port and Piazza Tasso to Viale dei pini (cooking school) or Circumvesuviana train – stop Sant’Agnello – walk for 300 meters to reach the school

After availability is confirmed, a deposit of 30% and the completed and submitted registration form will secure your reservation. Final payment is due in full 45 days before your arrival date.
